Welcome to the Whirling Whisk Baking Company. A bakery led by Chef Paulette De La Rosa and her mother, Lily. Everyday, this mother and daughter team go into the kitchen with the goal of turning sugar and flour into inspiring handmade desserts that excite the tongue. And while you may never know what they’re going to create, one thing is certain—you’ll always want more.
Chef Paulette De La Rosa
After working in the restaurant industry for nine years, Paulette decided to pursue a degree in baking and pastry at the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. After graduating, she started The Whirling Whisk Baking Company with her mother. Lily. Their shared goal is to make delicious and unique desserts that are safe for people with peanut and tree-nut allergies. And hopefully, to maintain a retail presence in specialty stores.

When General Manager and Mother Lily was diagnosed with nut allergies she realized she would no longer enjoy many of the baking products on the grocery shelves. After many years of searching for a quality baked good with no luck she figured is was a lost hope. And then along came Paulette’s desire to learn the artful skill of baking and pastry making. Lily’s ability to create recipes combined with Paulette’s new ability to bake created a mother daughter team with a unique skill set. The passion for nut free products mixed into alternative gourmet cookies. That’s why they started The Whirling Whisk Baking Company with her daughter, Paulette. With a passion for experimenting with different techniques and flavors, Lily and her daughter take pride in creating exquisite dessert options for individuals with nut allergies.
